Description
This wooden ceiling light forms an ultra-slim 16-inch (40 cm) disc of solid wood, set flush with the ceiling. Its built-in 27 W LED spreads warm, even light over 110 to 160 sq ft (10 to 15 m²). The circle of polished wood warms a white ceiling without costing any headroom. It suits Scandinavian, Japandi or warm modern interiors, in a bedroom, kitchen or entryway where you want general lighting without a hanging pendant.
Design & materials of a natural wood ceiling light
The ring is solid wood, heat-bent, a technique that curves the grain without breaking it and gives the circle a continuous line. The surface is polished, smooth to the touch, and shows the grain of the wood. A metal structure keeps the whole piece rigid and carries the LED module. The very thin profile makes the fixture disappear when it is off: all you see is a ring of light wood. This wood flush mount ceiling light sits naturally with oak, rattan, matte ceramics and lime-washed walls.
The light
The source is a built-in 27 W LED: no bulb to change and no socket to choose. This version gives warm light, the color family recommended for living spaces, around 2700 to 3000 K. The diffuser spreads the output evenly, with no glaring spot, making this slim flush mount LED ceiling light comfortable main lighting for a room of 110 to 160 sq ft (10 to 15 m²).
Where to put a wooden ceiling light
In a 110 sq ft (10 m²) kitchen, center it on the ceiling and add an under-cabinet strip for the counter. As a living room wood flush mount light, it suits a 160 sq ft (15 m²) space; beyond that, plan two, or add a table lamp near the sofa. Size & installation of an ultra thin flush mount ceiling light
- Diameter: 16 in (40 cm).

The fixture screws directly to the ceiling and wires to the existing junction box. Switch off the breaker and call an electrician if you are not comfortable with the wiring. You will need a drill, anchors suited to the surface and a sturdy step ladder. Its slim depth makes it an ideal solution under a low ceiling of 7.5 ft (2.30 m) or less.
Care
With the power off, dust the wood with a soft, dry cloth. For the diffuser, a barely damp microfiber cloth is enough. Do not use lots of water or household cleaners on the wood, which could stain. Once a year, a very light coat of clear wax revives the polish.

Warm wood, low ceiling
Our bedroom ceiling is only about 2.3 m and the old pendant was always in the way. This sits almost flat against the ceiling and the ring of wood looks lovely against the white paint. The light is warm and even with no glare, and it fills our 12 m² room easily. The electrician fitted it in no time.

We've been doing up our flat in a warm minimalist style, lots of pale wood and lime-washed walls, and the boxy ceiling light in the bedroom stuck out like a sore thumb. This wooden one was exactly what I'd been hoping to find. It's very thin, so it barely comes down from the ceiling, and when it's off you just see a lovely ring of wood with the grain showing through the polish. When it's on, the light is warm and spread evenly, no hot spot in the middle, so it's comfortable to look at even lying in bed. Our bedroom is about 13 m² and one is plenty. There's no bulb to change since the LED is built in. My partner put it up with a drill and the right anchors after the electrician sorted the connection. I do most of my own DIY, so I fitted this myself in our kitchen. Breaker off, old fitting down, new one screwed straight to the ceiling and connected to the existing box. You need a drill, the right anchors for your ceiling and a sturdy ladder, as the listing says. The whole thing is light, so holding it while connecting was no problem. The wood ring is bent in one continuous curve and feels smooth, and the metal structure underneath keeps it rigid. The 27 W LED is built in, which suits me fine as there's no bulb to replace. The light is warm and even, good for cooking without feeling clinical, and our kitchen is roughly 11 m² so it covers it well. I added an under-cabinet strip for the worktop as suggested. It's a very simple, clean product, and it makes the kitchen feel much warmer than the old white plastic fitting did. The wood is a bit darker than it looked on my screen, so it doesn't quite match our pale floors as I'd hoped. The light is lovely and warm, and it's well made. Just not the shade I'd pictured
