Description
This LED ring chandelier is made of four glowing rings in a black finish. The circles form a graphic composition that gives structure to the ceiling, even when it is off. Lit, it gives even light whose brightness you set with the remote, depending on the hour and the task. It suits modern interiors that want a bold central fixture without the bulk of a traditional chandelier, in a living room, dining room or bedroom.
Design & materials of a modern ring chandelier
The rings combine aluminum and metal for the structure with a PVC diffuser that spreads light around each circle. You see no bright spot, only continuous lines of light. The black finish sharpens the design and stands out clearly against a white ceiling. This black ring chandelier almost plays the role of an architectural element. It works with a low-slung sofa, a light wood table or sand-toned walls. To warm it all up, add bouclé textiles and a linen accent lamp.
The light of the LED ring chandelier
The light source is LED, included with the fixture: there is no bulb to buy. The remote lets you dim the light, from clear task light at the end of the day to a soft glow in the evening. As a guide, it covers a room of 110 to 160 sq ft (10 to 15 m²). In a larger living room, add a floor lamp near the sofa. Among dimmable LED ceiling lights, the diffusers keep this one glare-free, even when you look up from your seat.
Where to put it
In a living room, center it over the sofa and coffee table rather than the exact middle of the room, if the two do not line up. In a dining room, it suits a table for four to six when the ceiling height does not allow a pendant. Size & installation
This model has four black rings, with dimming and a remote. It mounts flush against the ceiling, making it a good LED flush mount ceiling light with remote for living rooms with standard 8 ft (2.4 to 2.5 m) ceilings. It arrives in a flat box of about 4.4 lb (2 kg) and is assembled before installation. Plan a drill, anchors suited to your ceiling, an insulated screwdriver and a second person to hold the structure while you wire it. Switch off the breaker before you start.
Care
Switch off the power. Dust the rings with a dry microfiber cloth or a feather duster, following the curve without pressing on the structure. For a mark, barely dampen the cloth and dry right away. No household cleaner or alcohol on the black finish and diffusers. Keep the remote dry.

Finally a light we agree on
My wife likes things minimal, I like things that look a bit different. We spent ages arguing over ceiling lights for the lounge and this was the first one we both said yes to straight away. It's clean and black, so it fits her taste, but the rings make it a bit of a talking point, which fits mine. We have a standard 2.4 m ceiling and it sits flat, so it doesn't get in the way. The remote is the bit we use most. Bright for when the kids are playing or I'm doing paperwork, then turned right down for a film. Our electrician wired it in about half an hour once we'd put the rings together on the floor. No bulbs needed, which I hadn't clocked until it arrived. Highly recommend.

I like the light, it's well made and looks just like the photos. My issue was more with myself. I ordered thinking it was something I could just put up, and only realised after it arrived that it's wired to the mains, so I had to book someone. Then the box turned up with a big dent in the side, although nothing inside was damaged. Lots of small frustrations, but now it's up I do like it.

I'll go through the install for anyone thinking of buying. The box is flat and light, around 2 kg. The rings come separately and you put them together before mounting, wich took me about thirty minutes on the living room floor. The instructions are mostly diagrams with very little text, so id recommend laying everything out first. After that I called in an electrician to wire it, becuase it goes into the ceiling and I wasnt going to risk it. He was done quickly. Once on, the light is very even and there's no glare from the sofa. The remote dimming works nicely and I like being able to bring it down to a soft glow at night. I'm a retired electrician and have fitted plenty of ceiling lights, so I did this one myself with my son holding the frame. Breaker off, rings assembled on the dining table first, then wired to the junction box. Straightforward. What I like most is that you can't see individual LEDs, just a continuous line of light around each ring, so you can look up without squinting. The remote dims it smoothly. Before buying I read that it suits a room of about 10 to 15 square metres. Our living room is bigger than that, closer to 25, but I went ahead anyway because I loved the look. It lights the middle of the room very well, but the corners are a bit dim in the evening, so we've added a floor lamp by the armchair, which the listing actually recommends. So that's on me, not the light. On the plus side, the design is brilliant. The four rings make a pattern that looks different depending on where you stand, and against our white ceiling the black really pops. Right size for a standard room
Our living room is about 14 square metres with a standard height ceiling and the old fitting was a single bulb under a dusty shade. I wanted something modern but not a big hanging chandelier that would make the room feel smaller. This sits flush against the ceiling so it doesn't eat into the headroom at all, and the four rings give it a bit of drama. The light is spread evenly, no hot spots, and the diffusers mean there's no glare when you're lying on the sofa looking up.
