Description
This amber glass pendant light gives off a honey-colored light, warm and enveloping. The tinted glass softens the bulb and lightly colors the room, like the end of a summer day. Four diameters, from 8 to 14 in (20 to 35 cm), let you use it alone over a table or in a row over an island. It will appeal to lovers of retro style and warm interiors who want a fixture as beautiful off as it is on.
Design and materials of this amber glass pendant light
The globe is hot-bent glass, tinted a deep amber. Off, it keeps bronze-gold reflections and adds a touch of color to the ceiling. On, it reveals the transparency of the glass and the bulb becomes a point of light at the heart of the globe. The metal fitting stays discreet. This vintage amber glass pendant light pairs with brass, corduroy velvet, dark wood and cement tiles, for an interior with seventies charm.
The light
The socket takes an E27 bulb, not included. The amber glass already warms the light: a 2700 K LED is enough for a golden mood, a 3000 K LED keeps things crisper in a kitchen. A visible filament bulb reinforces the retro style. Each pendant lights 55 to 110 sq ft (5 to 10 m²), ideal for a table or a corner of the room.
Where to put an amber pendant light
In a kitchen, three 10 in (25 cm) globes lined up over an island create a warm rhythm; space them 20 to 24 in (50 to 60 cm) apart. In a bedroom, an 8 in (20 cm) hung on each side of the bed replaces bedside lamps and frees up the nightstands. Size and installation
Four sizes: Ø 8 in (20 cm), Ø 10 in (25 cm), Ø 12 in (30 cm) and Ø 14 in (35 cm). The pendant connects to the ceiling junction box (model listed as 110 V / 220 V). Turn off the power at the breaker and handle the glass globe with care, with two people for the larger diameters. Over a table, set the bottom of the globe 26 to 30 in (65 to 75 cm) above the tabletop. Call an electrician if the wiring seems tricky.
Care
Switch off and let the bulb cool. Remove the globe if the fitting allows, then clean the glass with a soft cloth and a little warm water with dish soap, and dry with a microfiber cloth to avoid streaks. Dust the fitting dry, with no abrasive cleaner.

Glass is beautiful
Even switched off it's a nice object, the amber has a deep color with a bronze sheen. I used a 3000K LED in the kitchen so it doesn't get too orange. Good choice.

retro kitchen dream
we have terracotta tiles and dark wood cabinets and these amber globes look like they were made for our kitchen. i got two of the 12 inch for over the counter. with a filament bulb you can see the little glow in the middle and the glass throws this warm honey colour around the room. our electrician fitted both in under an hour. so happy with them

Smart and simple
The metal fitting is neat and doesn't distract from the glass. Took my electrician twenty minutes. Paired it with a filament bulb and it looks the part over our kitchen table.

Deeper amber than I expected
The amber is a bit deeper than it looked on my phone screen, so the light is warmer and more golden than I'd pictured. I've actually come round to it, it makes the dining room feel like a little bistro in the evening. Hung the 14 in over a table for six and it's the right scale. Just know the color is rich.

lovely pendant, realy well finished. Just a heads up that it doesn't come with a bulb, so order an E27 alongside it. I didn't and had to wait a few days to see it litØ 12 in (30 cm) -
Three over the island
We redid our kitchen with dark green cabinets and wanted something warm to balance them. After a lot of back and forth we went with three of the 10 in amber globes over the island, which is what the description suggests, about 55 cm apart and around 70 cm above the worktop. They look brilliant. Off, the glass has a bronze-gold sheen that catches the daylight. On, with 2700K LED filament bulbs, the island glows and the whole kitchen feels like a bar in the best way. Our electrician fitted them in a morning and said to handle the globes carefully while connecting. Bulbs are extra, so factor that in. They light the island nicely, and we added under cabinet strips for proper task lighting by the hob. Really happy with the choice.Ø 10 in (25 cm) -

Four stars because the bulbs aren't included and I didn't notice until they arrived, so we couldn't switch them on that night.
