Description
These white glass pendant lights pair a white glass globe with a crisp black fitting. Lit, the sphere becomes a soft source with no bright spot, rounding off the corners of a room. Its small size, from 4 to 7 in (10 to 18 cm) across, makes it right for places where a large fixture would crush the space: over a nightstand, a desk or a kitchen counter. It is for people who love calm interiors, where light is placed in touches rather than flooding from the ceiling.
Design & materials of a white glass light pendant
The globe is white glass: it filters the bulb and spreads the light over the whole sphere, hence the look of a glowing ball rather than a harsh point. The black top holds the globe and hides the socket. This black and white glass pendant light suits a Japandi interior as well as a kitchen with matte cabinet fronts. The line is deliberately plain, with no ornament, reduced to a pure shape. That restraint is what makes a white glass pendant easy to fit in, alone or in a group, without dating the room.
The light
The fixture comes with a 3000 K warm white LED bulb on a standard E27 socket. This color temperature gives a golden light without turning yellow, pleasant in the evening in a bedroom or living room. It is not dimmable. For an even softer mood, a 2700 K E27 bulb will do; over a countertop, keep 3000 K, clearer for cooking. The white glass diffuses and prevents glare, even when you look up at the globe from below.

Size & installation
The globe comes in four diameters: 4, 4.7, 6 and 7 in (10, 12, 15 and 18 cm). The 4 in (10 cm) works in a cluster or above a nightstand; the 7 in (18 cm) already stands out on its own over a small desk. The fixture hangs by its cord and is wired to a ceiling junction box. It is light, but the anchor must suit your ceiling: drywall, concrete or wood. Over a table, leave 26 to 30 in (65 to 75 cm) between the bottom of the globe and the top. Always work with the power off and, if in any doubt, call an electrician.
Care
Let the bulb cool and switch off the power. Dust the globe with a soft, dry cloth; for a mark, a microfiber cloth barely dampened with clean water is enough, then dry. Avoid abrasive products on the black fitting, which could mark it. Once a season, check that the globe is still held firmly in its fitting.

We hung two of the 4.7 in globes either side of our bed instead of bedside lamps and it's freed up so much space on the nightstands. The light is soft and warm, really calming at night.

Ordered three of the 6 inch for the kitchen island. Spaced them roughly 50 cm apart like the description suggests and hung them about 70 cm above the counter. The warm white bulb is included with each one, which saved me a trip to the shop. I'm a sparky so the wiring was quick, maybe twenty minutes a light. The colour is warm without going yellow and plenty clear for chopping veg. Really clean look against our matte cabinets.

Good, plan for install

I'll start by saying the pendant itself is gorgeous and I'd buy it again. I chose two of the 6 in globes for over our kitchen peninsula and they look really smart, the black tops against our white tiles. The glass gives a nice even glow, no harsh point of light, and the bulb in the box is a pleasant warm white. The reason for four stars is the instructions, which were pretty basic. Our electrician was fine with them but I'd have liked a clearer sheet with a suggested drop height. Also worth knowing these aren't made for dimming, which I'd missed when ordering because I'd just assumed. We use the normal switch and it's fine. Overall really happy with how the kitchen looks now.

I'm a bit obsessive about lighting so I read the whole listing before ordering, and it was spot on. I wanted a cluster at the end of our living room where we have a reading chair and a plant stand, so I mixed sizes: one 4 in, one 4.7 in and one 6 in, hung at three different drops. The effect is like little moons floating at different heights and it's the first thing guests comment on. The glass is properly white and milky, so you see a glowing ball rather than the shape of the bulb inside. The black tops tie in with our black picture frames and a metal side table. Each one had its own warm white E27 bulb in the box. Our electrician grouped them on one ceiling point, but the canopy for that was something I sourced myself, so plan for it if you want a cluster. We've been renovating our 1930s house room by room and lighting has been the hardest thing to get right, everything looked either too modern or too fussy. These globes hit the middle. We put a row of three 7 in over the kitchen island, about 60 cm apart, and a single 4.7 in in the little reading nook by the stairs. The white glass softens everything, and there's no glare even when you're sitting at the island looking up. The warm white bulbs in the box are a good colour, golden but not orange. Our electrician wired the lot in a morning. Only tip I'd give is to decide on your drop before he arrives, we went back and forth a bit. I went with the 6 in thinking it would be a decent size over our small dining table, and it's lovely, but honestly it's smaller than I'd pictured even though the measurements were right there on the page. Should have gone for the 7. The glass is a nice milky white and the light spreads over the whole ball, no hot spot. Black top is neat. Will probably add a second one beside it.Ø 6 in (15 cm)
