The beige linen keeps the slightly irregular look of the fiber, which gives the drum a living texture. The light

Size and installation
Three sizes: Ø 12 × H 8 in (30 × 20 cm), Ø 14 × H 8.5 in (35 × 22 cm) and Ø 16 × H 9.5 in (40 × 24 cm). You fit the shade yourself onto an E27 socket, hanging from the ceiling or on a table lamp base. Turn off the power before attaching the shade to an existing fixture. Over a table, set the bottom of the drum 26 to 30 in (65 to 75 cm) above the tabletop; in a living room, leave at least 6.5 ft (2 m) of clearance beneath the pendant.
Care
Switch off and let the bulb cool. Dust the linen with a soft brush or a vacuum brush attachment on the lowest setting. For a small stain, dab with a barely damp cloth, without rubbing. Do not machine-wash the fabric.

Updated my mom's flat
My mum's flat had the same frosted shades for twenty years and she said the light felt like a waiting room. I bought two of the 14 inch for her lounge and bed room and fitted them on a Sunday afternoon. Turned the power off, swapped them over, put in warm 2700K bulbs. She rang me that evening to say it feels like a new home. The beige linen goes with her cream walls and the light is so much softer.

Lovely texture
You can see the slightly uneven weave of the linen up close, which I really like. It looks natural rather than flat and synthetic. Used a 2700K LED bulb as suggested and the glow is warm and golden.

Good value refresh

We moved into a house where every room had a bare bulb hanging from the ceiling, and new light fittings were not in the budget after paying for the move. These shades were the cheap fix. I bought the 16 inch for the living room and two 14 inch for the bedrooms. Each one just goes onto the existing E27 holder, power off first obviously. The difference is huge. Some notes for anyone deciding between sizes. I bought the 12 and the 14 to compare, thinking I'd return one, and ended up keeping both. The 12 inch is quite compact, which makes it good for a table lamp or a small hallway, and I've used it on a lamp base in the reading corner. The 14 is a good size for a bedroom ceiling and that's where it went. If you want something over a dining table or a big living room, I'd go 16, the 14 would look a bit lost. The linen has a natural uneven texture, really nice up close, and with a warm LED bulb the light is soft and golden with no harsh spot in the middle. Fitting is simple on any standard E27 holder, just turn the power off first. Four stars because the beige reads slightly more gray than on my screen. It's a lovely neutral, it just wasn't quite the sandy color I'd imagined

I want to start with the positive, becuase the shade itself is lovely and id buy it again. I chose the 16 inch for our open-plan living room, and it hangs over the coffee table and gives a warm central glow in the evening, just as id hoped. The linen texture looks expensive, slightly irregular and natural. Here's my one issue. im not great at DIY and I was nervous about fitting a shade onto an existing ceiling pendant. The instructions are minimal. In the end my neighbor did it in about two minutes, so its clearly easy, but a little diagram would have helped a beginner like me. Bigger than I thought
I ordered the 16 inch for my small bedroom and it's honestly too big for the space. My fault, the sizes are clearly listed. The shade itself is lovely, so I've moved it to the living room and ordered the 14 for the bedroom instead.Ø 16 × H 9.5 in (40 × 24 cm) -

I'm the handy one in the house, so I was tasked with sorting the lighting in our new dining room. The previous owners had left a pendant cord with a bare bulb, and my wife wanted something soft and natural over the table. We went for the 16 inch. Fitting it took a few minutes: power off at the switch, unscrew the ring on the holder, slide the shade on, screw it back. We hung it so the bottom of the drum is about 70 cm above the table, which is what the description recommends and it looks right. I put in a 2700K LED bulb and the light through the linen is warm and even, no hot spot when you look up. Four stars because the beige is a little greyer than I expected from the photos. Softer than my old glass shade
