This wooden tripod floor lamp stands on three solid wood legs and carries a white fabric shade. Switched on, it spreads a soft light toward both the ceiling and the floor, turning a corner of the living room into a cozy nook. The solid wood base of this wooden tripod lamp keeps the warmth and natural grain of the material. Its three splayed legs give a stable footing and a graphic, almost architectural line. The white fabric shade softens the bulb and spreads a milky glow through the room. It is a wooden floor lamp that plays on the contrast between raw material and soft textile. It pairs with light oak, linen, boucle wool and white or beige walls. In a japandi interior, team it with a wooden coffee table and a matte ceramic piece.
The light
It takes an E27 bulb, not included, up to 60 W. For a living room mood, choose a 2700 K warm white LED of around 800 lumens: the light stays soft without looking dull. The shade, open at the top and bottom, lights both ceiling and floor for an enveloping glow. The push-button switch does not dim: for a softer mood, choose a lower-wattage bulb or a smart LED bulb you can dim from your phone.
Where to put tripod lamps for the living room
In the living room, place it behind the sofa armrest, the shade just above shoulder height: it becomes a reading lamp and an ambient point of light. In a bedroom, it replaces a bedside lamp in a corner, next to an armchair. In a home office, set behind the chair, it softens the contrast with the screen in the evening and rests the eyes. The lamp is simple to put together: assemble the tripod, then fit the shade and the bulb. No drilling is needed; it plugs into a standard outlet. Note that it comes with an EU plug, for 220-240 V. Set it on a level floor, spreading the three legs well apart for stability. Run the cord along a wall or under a flat rug to avoid tripping. Keep it away from curtains and do not exceed the stated maximum wattage.
Care
Unplug and let it cool before any cleaning. Dust the shade with a clothes brush or a lint roller. Wipe the wood with a dry or barely damp cloth, then dry. Avoid household cleaners on both the fabric and the solid wood, which could stain them.

I work from home and my desk faces a wall, so by late afternoon the contrast between the screen and the dark room was giving me headaches. We have a small living room and I was worried a floor lamp would take over, but the legs are slim and it tucks in next to the couch without getting in the way. Warm and simple
I've had a few floor lamps over the years, mostly metal ones, and they always felt a bit cold. This tripod is the first one I really love. The wood has a natural grain and warmth that works so well with the linen couch and the pale rug. I've been slowly building a Scandinavian look with pale wood, white walls and a wool rug, and this was the missing piece.
