The body is aluminum with a black finish, a light metal that keeps a straight, precise line. On its underside, an acrylic diffuser softens the LED points into a continuous band of light. The profile stays slim: the fixture is discreet when off and becomes a stroke of light when on. The black echoes matte black faucets, a dark mirror frame or charcoal grout on white tile. Size and installation

Choose a length close to two thirds of the mirror width: 16 in (40 cm) for a 20 to 24 in (50 to 60 cm) mirror, 24 in (60 cm) for a 31 to 39 in (80 to 100 cm) mirror. Mount it 2 to 4 in (5 to 10 cm) above the top edge, centered. No IP rating is given in our data: keep it out of reach of splashes, away from the shower and the tub. Turn off the power at the breaker and have an electrician make the connection, following the bathroom's safety zones.
Care
Turn off the power before any cleaning. Wipe the aluminum with a soft, slightly damp cloth, then dry to avoid water spots. On the acrylic diffuser, avoid alcohol and abrasive cleaners, which would cloud it. A dry microfiber cloth is enough for dust.

Bright and neat
Replaced an old silver bar light that was yellowing. This black one looks far more modern and gives a cleaner, brighter light over the basin. Very pleased

I'm a makeup artist and I do alot of looks at home for social media, so lighting matters a lot to me. I was sceptical about a light this slim, but the neutral white setting renders skin really faithfully, no weird yellow cast and no grey. becuase the light comes down from above the mirror and slightly forward, there are no shadows under my eyes or nose. Best bathroom upgrade we made
We spent months renovating our 1970s bathroom, new tiles, new vanity, new mirror, and I left the lighting untill the end, which was a mistake becuase I nearly ran out of patience. I'm glad I chose this though. We went with the 24 in above an 85 cm mirror, which follows the two thirds rule in the listing, and centred it about 6 cm above the frame. The body is black aluminium and very slim, so it reads as a crisp line rather than a lamp. The diffuser is white acrylic and the light comes out as one smooth strip, no dotty LEDs. There are three shades of white; I like the neutral for shaving because everything looks natural, and my partner uses the warmest one at night. It isn't dimmable, which I knew going in, and honestly I haven't missed it. Our electrician fitted it outside the splash zone. Two over a double vanity
We have a double vanity with two separate mirrors and followed the suggestion of fitting a 16 in above each one. They look great as a pair, very symmetrical and tidy. My wife uses the warm white for her evening skincare and I leave mine on neutral. Our electrician wired both in an afternoon. Big improvement over the single ceiling light we had.

Finally see what I'm doing
I wear contact lenses and putting them in under our old ceiling light was a nightmare because my head blocked the light. With this above the mirror the light comes from the front and I can see clearly. It's the 24 in over our wide mirror, looks very smart. The neutral white is clean without being harsh. Proper task lighting
I'm an electrician myself so fitting it was straightforward. Mains connection, 230 V is within the 90 to 260 V range, mounted centred about 7 cm above the mirror. The body is aluminium and feels sturdy for something so slim. Light is even along the full length with no hotspots. I put the 16 in above my 55 cm mirror, which matches the two thirds rule they give. Love the clean lines
