This wood wall sconce combines a round wooden backplate, an aluminum structure and a pink cone shade in a clean Scandinavian line. Adjustable over 350°, it aims light at a book, a picture or the wall for indirect lighting. It plugs into an outlet with its EU plug and takes a standard E27 bulb: no work, no junction box to add. Design & materials of a Scandinavian plug in wall sconce
Wood brings warmth, aluminum lightness and precision of line, and the pink shade a soft, cheerful note. This contrast between natural material and metal gives the object a character both handmade and contemporary, typical of Nordic design. An acrylic diffuser softens the light as it leaves the shade. This pink wall sconce finds its place on a white, sand or sage-green wall, with light oak, linen and ceramics. It also pairs with a wooden headboard or a wall shelf for a restful look. The light
The bulb is not included. The sconce uses an E27 socket, the most common type, so you choose the shape and color freely. To go with the wood, a warm white 2700 K LED is the best choice; a frosted globe bulb limits glare when the sconce faces you. This model is not designed for a dimmer. Turned to the wall, this adjustable wall lamp creates an indirect glow; turned toward an armchair, it becomes a reading lamp.
Where to hang a wood wall sconce
In a bedroom, a wood plug in wall sconce on each side of the bed, aimed at the pillow, replaces the bedside lamp. In a living room, place it above an armchair to create a reading corner, or aim it at a framed artwork. In a hallway, mount two or three turned toward the ceiling for soft, indirect light. Size & installation
A single model is offered, with a pink shade, shipped without a bulb and with an EU plug. The sconce mounts to the wall with anchors suited to your surface, then plugs into a nearby outlet: no assembly is required. The package weighs about 15 oz (430 g), a light load. Thanks to the 350° rotation, mounting height stays flexible: 47 in (1.20 m) from the floor next to a bed, 63 in (1.60 m) in a living room or hallway. Before drilling, check that the cord reaches the outlet and plan a discreet cord clip to guide it.
Care
Unplug it and wait for the bulb to cool. Dust the wood with a soft, dry cloth, following the grain. On the aluminum, a slightly damp microfiber cloth removes fingerprints. Avoid solvents, as well as water on the wood, which could mark or dull it.

Perfect for a small studio
living in a studio means every surface counts, so I didnt want a floor lamp or a big table lamp taking up room. This sconce sits on the wall above my desk, which is also my dining table, which is also where I fold laundry. Turned down, it lights the table for work. Turned to the wall, it makes the room feel cosy for dinner. Turned toward the couch, its a reading light. One lamp doing three jobs. Mounting was straightforward with a couple of anchors, and the cord runs neatly down to the outlet with a few clips. Lovely, just mind the outlet
I'd been looking for a plug-in wall light for ages because my bedroom has no wiring where I wanted it, and this one ticked every box style-wise. The wood is warm, the pink is soft and slightly muted, and the shape is very clean. Four stars is purely practical: my outlet is on the opposite side of the bed, so I ended up running the cord behind the headboard and along the skirting with clips. It works, but it took more fiddling than I'd planned. If your outlet is close, it's an easy job. We were redoing our guest room on a tight budget and the plan was to make it feel calm and a bit Scandi without spending much. This sconce ended up being the piece that pulled it together. The round wooden plate sits nicely against the white wall, and the pink cone gives a hint of colour without shouting. We mounted it at about 1.20 m beside the bed, like the guide suggested, and it's just the right height to read with the head turned down. Check your outlet first
my mistake more than anything, but worth flagging. i mounted it where i wanted it visually and then realized the cord didn't quite reach the nearest outlet, so i had to fill the holes and move it lower. Three stars is about my own experience rather than the lamp. The delivery estimate slipped twice and the tracking sat on the same status for days, which was stressful as it was meant for my wife's birthday. I'm 68 and not great with tools, so my grandson came round to put this up for me in the hallway. He said it was one of the easiest things he'd mounted, just a couple of anchors and the backplate. We pointed it up toward the ceiling and it gives the softest light when I come in at night, much nicer than the big overhead light wich always felt harsh. I bought a warm white bulb as suggested on the page, a frosted one so it doesn't dazzle. The wood is a nice light colour and the pink shade cheers up what was a fairly dull corridor. Bought two for my home office, one each side of the shelving unit. Some notes for anyone considering it. 1) No bulb in the box, it takes a regular E27. I used 2700 K LEDs which match the wood nicely. 2) It's plug-in, so you only need to fix it to the wall. I used the anchors I already had for plasterboard. 3) The head rotates through 350 degrees so you can aim it at the desk, the wall or straight up. I keep one pointed at the ceiling and one at the keyboard. 4) It's light, so no worries about it pulling out of the wall. 5) The acrylic diffuser takes the edge off the bulb, no harsh hotspot.
