Description
This wicker chandelier is hand-woven into a wide, natural crown. Switched on, it filters the light through its weave and draws a shifting play of shadows on the ceiling. It comes in three sizes, from a small 16 in (40 cm) to a generous 24 in (60 cm) in two heights. It brings the warmth of a vacation house to a dining room, a living room or a bedroom, for anyone who loves boho style and raw materials.
Design and materials of this wicker chandelier
The shade is hand-woven wicker over a wooden frame, in a Scandinavian and boho spirit. Each gap lets light through and holds back a little shadow: the weave is the decoration. The natural color varies slightly from piece to piece, a sign of handwork. This wicker light fixture pairs with washed linen, raw wood, matte ceramics and green plants. It warms up a white interior and gives depth to a ceiling that feels too bare.
The light
The chandelier takes one E27 bulb, not included. Choose a warm white LED, 2700 K, to bring out the honey tone of the wicker; a clear filament bulb casts the sharpest shadows, an opal bulb softens them. The chandelier is not designed for a dimmer. Plan on a 60 W-equivalent bulb for ambient light, more if it is the only light in the room.
Where to put a boho hanging light
In a dining room, the 24 in (60 cm) centers over a table of 55 to 71 in (140 to 180 cm), with wooden or rush chairs. In a living room, the 24 × 18 in (60 × 45 cm) dresses a high ceiling and answers a jute rug. In a bedroom, the 16 in (40 cm) stays discreet above the bed, with linen bedding; there it works as a soft wicker ceiling light. Other natural-fiber models are among our chandeliers.

Size and installation
- Ø 16 × H 7.5 in (40 × 19 cm): for a small bedroom or a hallway.
- Ø 24 × H 12 in (60 × 30 cm): the versatile size, over a table for 4 to 6.
- Ø 24 × H 18 in (60 × 45 cm): deeper, for a living room or a high ceiling.
The chandelier connects to a ceiling junction box. Turn off the power at the breaker and call an electrician if in doubt. Over a table, leave 28 to 31 in (70 to 80 cm) between the tabletop and the bottom of the shade.
Care
Turn off the power and let the bulb cool. Dust the wicker with a feather duster or a soft brush, following the direction of the weave. A vacuum with a brush attachment, on low, reaches into the gaps. Avoid water, which makes the fiber swell, and keep the chandelier away from humidity.

Summer house feeling
Our dining room is very white and felt a bit cold, so I went for the 24 by 12 over the table. It's added so much warmth. At night the light filters through the weave and the shadows on the ceiling are so pretty. I used a clear filament bulb for sharper shadows, as the description suggests. Dusting is easy with the vacuum brush on low.

Worth the wait
I'd been hunting for the right natural light fitting for our living room for ages. We have high ceilings and most woven shades looked lost up there, so I ordered the deeper 24 by 18 and it's exactly right. It has proper presence without feeling heavy, because the weave is so open and light comes through everywhere. In the evening, with a 2700 K warm bulb, the whole room turns golden and the pattern on the ceiling is lovely. It goes beautifully with our jute rug, plants and linen cushions. Our electrician fitted it in about half an hour. The wicker colour is a soft natural tone, slightly different from the photo, but that's natural material for you. I've already had two friends ask for the link.

My wife has wanted a boho style light for our dining room since we moved in, so I finally ordered this as a surprise. I measured our table, which is about 160 cm long, and went for the 24 by 12 since the listing says that's the size for a table for four to six. Good call, it's perfectly proportioned. I'm fairly handy but I had an electrician wire it to be safe, and we hung it about 75 cm above the table. I put in a clear filament bulb and the shadows it throws on the ceiling and walls are seriously impressive. Our dinners feel like being on holiday somewhere warm. The wicker feels sturdy on its wooden frame. She loved the surprise.

The chandelier is lovely and very neatly woven. I ordered the 16 in for our dining area, which I now realise is really meant for a bedroom or hallway, as the description says. Warm and textured

Beautiful weave and a lovely natural colour. Mine is slightly lighter than the photos, but the listing does say the colour varies a little from piece to piece, so no complaint really. I love this light. We have the 24 by 12 over our dining table for six and the shadows it throws on the ceiling at night are beautiful, especially with a clear filament bulb. Only reason for four stars is the box arrived with one corner squashed, which made me nervous, but the shade inside was perfectly fine.
