LED backlit bathroom mirror: design and materials
The silvered glass is mounted on a discreet aluminum frame that leaves all the room to the reflection. The built-in LED sits at the back: light falls onto the wall and draws a glowing outline, with no glaring spot. Switched on, the mirror seems to float in front of the wall; switched off, it keeps a simple rectangular line. This anti-fog LED bathroom mirror suits contemporary bathrooms, large-format tile, polished concrete and chrome or black faucets. The anti-fog function saves you from wiping the glass after every hot shower.
Where to put it
The 24 × 31 in size fits above a 31 in (80 cm) vanity, taking up its full width; for a 24 in (60 cm) vanity, choose the 20 × 24 or 20 × 28 in. Size and installation
- Sizes: 20 × 24 in (50 × 60 cm), 20 × 28 in (50 × 70 cm) or 24 × 31 in (60 × 80 cm).

The mirror mounts on the wall, then connects to the power supply. Turn off the power at the breaker before any work, and have an electrician make the connection if you are not sure. In a bathroom, follow the electrical safety zones and install it out of reach of shower spray. Set its center around 61 in (155 cm) off the floor, above the sink.
Care
Turn off the power before cleaning. Use a lightly damp microfiber cloth with a mild glass cleaner applied to the cloth and never sprayed on the mirror, to protect the LED and components. Wipe the aluminum frame with a dry cloth. Avoid abrasive products and scouring sponges.

Bright, soft and steam free
My bathroom gets the morning rush of three teenagers, so a mirror that fogs up is a daily argument. Since we installed this one there's been a lot less shouting. The anti-fog keeps the glass usable right after showers, which honestly was all I wanted, but the lighting has turned out to be the bigger bonus. The light comes from the LED behind the mirror and lands on the wall, so you get this gentle frame of light with no glare. My daughter does her makeup with the neutral tone and says it's the best light in the house. I went for the 60 x 80 over our 80 cm vanity so two people can share it. We had it hardwired by our electrician since I wouldn't trust myself near bathroom wiring. Packaging was solid, everything protected. Very pleased and wish we'd done it sooner.

Great mirror, plan for install
I love the mirror, the light is soft and the anti-fog is honestly great. Taking off a star simply because I underestimated the install. It has to be hardwired, which is stated on the page, but I hadn't really thought it through and ended up needing an electrician to add a supply behind the vanity. That took time and money. If you already have a supply where the mirror goes, it'll be easy. Once it was up, no complaints whatsoever.

Makeup artist approved
I do bridal makeup and practise looks at home a lot, so lighting matters more to me than to most people. I'd been using a ring light propped on the sink, which was awkward and took up all the space. This mirror replaced it completely. The neutral tone is the one I use most, it gives a really honest read of skin tone, no orange cast, and the light comes from behind the glass all the way round so there are no strong shadows under the eyes or chin. The cooler tone is handy for checking blending. I chose the middle size for our vanity and it gives me enough mirror to step back and see the whole face and hair. It also stays clear after showers, which my partner appreciates. Hardwired by an electrician, quick and tidy. finally a bathroom i like
We bought a flat with the most depressing bathroom, no window, one bare bulb and a tiny mirror stuck to the tiles. I couldnt afford a full renovation so I picked a few things that would make the most difference and this mirror was the big one. I chose the 50 x 60 because the basin is quite narrow. A friend's dad who's an electrician connected it for us. The minute it was on, the whole room changed, the light goes onto the wall all round the mirror so it feels soft not harsh. In the morning I use the coolest one to wake myself up lol and in the evening the warm one. It doesn't fog up either, which in a windowless room is a miracle. Worth every penny
We gutted our bathroom this year, new large format tiles, black taps, wall hung vanity, and I'd left the mirror until the end because nothing I found looked right. Most LED mirrors I saw had a bright strip on the front which felt a bit hotel corridor to me. This one lights up from behind, so the glass itself stays plain and the light spills onto the tiles around it. Switched on it looks like it's floating off the wall, switched off it's just a neat rectangle. The three light colours are more useful than I expected: warm for evenings, the middle one for makeup and the cool one when my other half shaves. Our electrician wired it in while he was doing the other bathroom work and followed the safety zones so it's well away from the shower. Did the install myself
I'm a retired electrician, so before anyone asks, yes I connected it myself, and I'd say to anyone who isn't confident with wiring to get someone in. The bathroom zones matter. With that out of the way, it's a well thought out mirror. The 60 x 80 is a decent weight, the box was around the 8 kg mark, so I had my son hold it level while I sorted the connection. The LED is set back behind the glass and gives an even halo on the wall, no hot spots that I could see. I tested all three colours and the warm one is a proper warm, not that grey white you get on cheap fittings. My wife uses the middle tone for her makeup. The anti-fog clears the glass quickly after a shower, which in our house of four is a big deal in the mornings. Good product, packed properly, nothing missing in the box.24 × 31 in (60 × 80 cm) -
Better than the hotel one
i stayed in a really nice hotel last year that had one of these backlit mirrors and ive wanted one ever since. finally got round to it when we redid the bathroom. we went for the 50 x 70 because our vanity is only 60 cm and it fits really well. the electrician came to connect it and said it was a straightforward job. honestly the thing i love most is the warm light in the evening, i put it on and light a candle and it feels like a spa. the anti fog is amazing too, our bathroom gets really steamy and it stays clear. my only tip is follow the cleaning advice and spray the cloth not the mirror. very happy!!20 × 28 in (50 × 70 cm) -

I was hesitant because I'd never had a lit mirror and I worried it would look a bit flashy in our older house. It doesn't at all. When it's off it's just a clean rectangular mirror with a very thin frame, and when it's on the light sits behind the glass and glows softly on the wall. I chose the 50 x 70 for the family bathroom and it sits nicely above the vanity with a little wall either side. I mostly use the warm light, the neutral one is good for tweezing, and my partner likes the cooler one for shaving. The anti-fog is a lifesaver in winter when the bathroom fills with steam. It needed hardwiring, so we had an electrician in, and he placed it well clear of the shower. I clean it with a damp cloth and a little glass cleaner on the cloth, which keeps it streak free. Exactly what I wanted
im the type who reads every single listing detail before ordering, so here's my take after a few weeks. Sizes are exactly as described. We got the 50 x 70 for a 65 cm vanity and it leaves a nice margin. The frame is aluminium and very slim, the mirrior is clean with no distortion. The LED sits at the back so you see a halo on the wall rather than a bright edge, and there's no glare when you look straight into it. The three light colours are distinct: warm is properly warm, neutral is ideal for makeup and the cool one is crisp. Anti-fog works well, the glass clears quickly after a hot shower. Installation is hardwired, and our electrician took about an hour including taking the old mirror down. One tip, plan where the cable comes out of the wall before you tile. A spa feel at home
My partner and I have been slowly doing up our first house and the bathroom was the room we both dreaded. It was dark, a bit damp and the old mirrior steamed up so badly it was useless. We chose the 60 x 80 for the 80 cm vanity, and the electrician who did our new spotlights wired it in at the same time. He set the centre at about 155 cm like the instructions suggest and it's a comfortable height for both of us even though there's a big height difference. The anti-fog means I don't have to wipe the glass after every shower. In the evenings we turn off the main lights and just leave the mirror on warm, it's like having a little spa.
