Bright and practical
Our living room is quite dark and I put this in the corner next to a lamp more as a trick than anything else. I'm a stylist and do a lot of wardrobe edits for clients, and I wanted a mirror at home that I could actually trust to show proportions. This one does. The glass is high definition and there's no stretching or wobble, which you get with some of the lightweight mirrors that bend slightly. At 160 by 50 cm it's tall enough for a full look, shoes included, and the narrow width means it fits in the corner of my bedroom without dominating. The stand is adjustable, and I've found leaning it back slightly gives the most honest and flattering view at the same time. The white frame is slim and neat, it disappears on my white wall and doesn't fight with the clothes. It arrived well packed and it is heavy, so I'd recommend two people to unbox it. I placed it facing the window so the light falls on whoever is standing in front of it, which is exactly what the description advises. My clients have started asking where it's from when we do video calls, which says a lot. Very happy.

The box is big and heavy and the courier left it at the bottom of my building, so I had to get a neighbour to help me carry it up. That's not really the mirror's fault, and the description does warn you about the weight, but worth knowing if you live upstairs. The mirror itself was perfect inside.
