This smart table lamp is controlled from your phone over Wi-Fi: you switch it on, off and change its color without getting up. Design and materials
The body is ABS plastic, a light material that resists small knocks, welcome on a nightstand in daily use. The shape is a simple flared cone, white and translucent, on a wood-look base: off, the lamp stays neutral and discreet; on, it becomes a column of color that washes the wall behind the bed. This unadorned design leaves all the room to the light. It suits a modern bedroom, a home office or a teenager's room, and sits just as well on an entryway console as on a shelf.
The light of a smart table lamp
The light source is a built-in 5 W RGB LED. The app lets you choose the color and switch between lighting modes, which makes it a true color changing lamp. Size and installation
No installation is needed: the lamp sits on a piece of furniture and plugs into a 5 V power supply. It has no battery and must stay plugged in to work. Once it is plugged in, install the app on your phone and pair the lamp with your home Wi-Fi network. Keep it within arm's reach of the bed for easy access, and run the cable behind the nightstand so it stays out of sight.
Care
Unplug the lamp before cleaning it. A soft, dry cloth is enough to remove dust and fingerprints from the plastic. Avoid water, solvents and household cleaners, which could dull the surface or reach the electronics. Keep it away from moisture.

Bought one for the kids' shared room. They agree on a color each night, wich is a small miracle, and I switch it off from the couch once they're asleep.

I wanted to try a smart lamp without spending a fortune and this one has been brilliant. Setting it up was a case of plugging it in, downloading the app and connecting to our Wi-Fi, which took me a couple of minutes. I keep it on my side of the bed and use a soft amber tone in the evenings, which really does seem to help me wind down. In the mornings I set it brighter as part of getting up. My partner thought it was a gimmick and now has one on his side too. The design is lovely and simple, the white cone glows evenly and the wood-look base keeps it from looking too techy. My only tip is to make sure there's an outlet near your bed because it has no battery, but that's clear on the listing.

Mood lighting for my office
i work late a lot and my home office used to feel so stark with just the ceiling light. Now i set this lamp behind my screen on a soft color and it washes the wall, wich takes the harsh contrast away. When i finish work i switch it to a warm tone and leave the office looking cosy instead of like a workplace. I'll be clear that i like the lamp. The flared shape is simple and modern and the wood-look base makes it feel less like a gadget, so it actually fits in my bedroom. The colors are bright and lovely and the app lets me change things without getting out of bed, which is lazy but great. My three stars are down to my own planning really. I'd somehow assumed it had a battery, so i could move it around, and it doesn't, it needs to stay plugged in all the time. That's written in the description and i missed it. My bed is on the opposite wall from the outlet and i ended up buying an extension lead, which isn't the tidy look i was going for. Bought this for my desk and use it to throw some color on the wall behind my monitor in the evenings, which makes late work a lot easier on the eyes.
