This oval wood mirror measures 16 × 24 in (40 × 60 cm) and is framed in solid wood, in a natural tone that warms the wall. Size and installation

It hangs on the wall with screws and anchors suited to the surface: drywall anchors for drywall, standard anchors for brick or concrete. Have a drill, a level and a pencil on hand. Above a sink, leave 8 to 10 in (20 to 25 cm) between the basin and the bottom of the mirror, with the center about 63 in (1.60 m) off the floor. On a 24 in (60 cm) vanity, its 16 in width leaves a balanced margin.
Care
Clean the mirror with a lightly damp microfiber cloth or glass cleaner sprayed onto the cloth, never directly on the glass. Wipe the wood frame with a dry or barely damp cloth, then dry it. In a bathroom, air out the room after a shower to limit condensation on the wood.

Japandi bathroom done

The bathroom finally feels finished
I'll be honest, I'm usually the person who reads every review before buying anything, so here's mine for the next person. We have a small family bathroom with a 60 cm vanity unit in white and some sage green tiles. The previous mirror was a cabinet that had seen better days. I wanted something with a natural material to go with the green, and wood seemed the obvious choice. This oval is the right width for our vanity, there's a balanced margin on each side, exactly as described. The frame is light, natural wood with visible grain, not painted or stained dark. The glass is sharp. I can see every flyaway hair, for better or worse. It arrived double boxed with the edges well protected. It went up on two screws, my partner used a level and we marked the spot with a pencil first. It's been a couple of months of daily steamy showers with the kids and the frame looks exactly the same as day one, we just air the room out. Really happy we went for it.

Better than the round one
I almost bought a round mirror but the vertical oval suits our narrow vanity much better. It makes the wall look taller. Frame is plain, no heavy carving, which I prefer.

A soft oval for a small room
Our bathroom has no window and everything felt very boxy. The rounded shape helps more than I thought it would, and the wood takes the edge off the bright overhead light. It's sharp enough to do eyeliner, and the frame is a light natural tone that goes with our towels and the little wooden shelf. We redid our downstairs loo on a tight budget and this was the one thing I let myself spend a bit on. The old mirror was a frameless rectangle stuck to the wall with glue, and pulling it off took half the plaster with it, so I was in no mood for anything fussy. This oval is 40 x 60, which sounded small on paper, but over a 50 cm basin it looks just right with a bit of wall showing either side. The frame is a natural light wood, the grain is visible and each bit is slightly different, which I like. It's not orangey at all. My partner drilled two holes, we used wall anchors from the hardware drawer, done in about fifteen minutes with a level. The glass is crisp, no wobble in the reflection even when you look at it from the side. After a few weeks of showers next door the wood still looks the same. Gorgeous mirror and the reflection is clear, the wood has a lovely grain. Only reason it's four and not five is the colour, which is a shade lighter than I expected from the photos. Some background: I've been slowly renovating a terraced house and the bathroom was last on the list. Everything in there is white tile, white basin, white everything, and it felt like a hospital. I didn't want to start ripping out tiles so I went for small warm touches instead: a wooden stool, a couple of plants, and this oval mirror. It made more difference than I expected. The natural wood frame breaks up all the white and the grain gives it some life. The size is right for a single basin, 40 x 60, and the vertical oval makes the ceiling feel a little higher. I hung it with the center around 1.60 m like the listing suggests and it's comfortable for both me and my partner, who's a fair bit shorter. Installation was straightforward, two screws into masonry anchors. The glass is clear, I shave in front of it every morning and there's no distortion at all. Beautiful, check your wall first
the mirror is beautiful and I'd buy it again. Four stars because I hadn't realised I'd need the right anchors for my wall, and my first attempt with the screws I had lying around wasn't great. Once I bought proper drywall anchors it went up securely. The frame is a warm, light wood and the oval looks really elegant above our basin. i had a very specific idea for our entry: a narrow wooden bench, a coat rack we already had, a plant, and a mirror that wasn't a big rectangle. The space is tight, about 90 cm of wall between the door frame and a radiator, so a large mirror would have been overwhelming. The 16 x 24 in oval fits perfectly and leaves room to breathe. i hung it at eye level, center at roughly 160 cm, and it catches the daylight from the glass panel in the front door, so the hallway feels much lighter than before. Nice mirror, slow delivery
I want to be fair here becuase the mirror is really nice, and the three stars are all about the delivery. It was quoted at about a week and it took almost three, with the tracking stuck for a good part of that. I emailed and got a polite reply, but it was still frustrating as I had a painter booked and wanted it up before family came to stay. When it did arrive the outer box was a bit battered on one side, but the mirror inside was wrapped well and was perfectly fine, not a scratch. On the wall it looks lovely. The wood is light and natural with a nice grain and the oval suits our bathroom much better than the old square mirror. Glass is clear, I can see properly to put on makeup. bought two of these for our double vanity, one over each sink, like the description suggested. Honestly it's the nicest our bathroom has ever looked. The wood brings some warmth to all the grey stone and the two ovals side by side look balanced. We left about 20 cm above each basin. Great with stone
We have a stone-look basin and dark tiles and wanted something warmer on the wall. The natural wood works so well against the gray. Hung it with anchors into the brick, the weight is easy to handle on your own. Reflection is clear right to the edges, no warping. Three stars, but please read on because it's not the mirror's fault. I ordered this for over my bathroom sink without really checking the measurements against my wall. The listing says 16 x 24 in clearly and I just didn't picture it properly. My vanity is quite wide, about 80 cm, and on that the mirror looks a bit lost, there's a lot of empty wall either side. The mirror itself is lovely. The wood frame has a soft natural color and you can see the grain, the oval shape is neat and the glass is clear with no warping. It felt sturdy coming out of the box and it was well wrapped. I've decided to keep it and move it to the bedroom above a chest of drawers where it fits perfectly, and I'll look for something wider for the bathroom.
