Design and materials of this Hollywood vanity mirror with lights
The frame is metal with a white finish and straight lines. Nine LED bulbs run around its edge, so light reaches you from the front and from the sides at once. That softens the shadows a single overhead light leaves behind.
Three color modes take you from a warm white, flattering in the evening, to a cooler tone that shows foundation lines. Switched off, this Hollywood light up mirror is still a decorative piece: the row of globes recalls a theater or film studio backstage. The 360° rotation adjusts the tilt without moving the whole mirror.
Where to put it
In a bedroom, set it on a dressing table facing a window or at a right angle to it, never with your back to the daylight. You get natural light and bulb light together. A velvet stool and a brass tray are all it takes to finish the beauty corner.

Size and installation
The mirror measures 12 × 13.5 in (30.5 × 34.3 cm). The package weighs 4.2 lb (1.9 kg). No assembly is needed: it stands on a dressing table, a dresser or a desk.
- Allow a surface at least 16 in (40 cm) deep so it sits back from the edge.
- On a vanity 32 to 40 in (80 to 100 cm) wide, it leaves room on either side for brushes and bottles.
- Sit down to set the tilt: the center of the mirror should be at eye level when you are seated.
Keep fabrics and paper away from the bulbs while they are on.
Care
Switch the mirror off and let the bulbs cool. Wipe the glass with a lightly damp microfiber cloth, then a dry one. Dust the bulbs with a soft brush or a dry cloth, never with liquid. A dry cloth is enough for the metal frame; avoid abrasive cleaners that would scratch the white finish.

I've always done my makeup in the bathroom under one ceiling light, and I never realised how many shadows I was working around until I got this. The bulbs go around the frame, so the light comes from the front and the sides at the same time, and the shadows under my eyes and nose are just gone. I use the cool setting to check my foundation is blended, then switch to warm to see how it'll look at dinner. It's a nice compact size, it sits on my dressing table with room either side for my brushes and palettes. I can tilt it to the angle I want with the rotation. The white frame is simple and clean and goes with my bedroom. When it's off it still looks pretty, like a little backstage mirror. No assembly, I took it out of the box and it was ready. Really lovely mirror. The light from all those bulbs is even and flattering, and I like being able to pick warm, neutral or cool depending on where I'm going. The 360 rotation is handy for tilting it when I sit down. Only reason it's not five stars is that delivery took longer than I expected and the tracking was vague.
