Take it out of the box and set it down: no screws or tools needed. Place it on a flat, stable surface, about 12 to 16 in (30 to 40 cm) from your face, at eye level when seated. Avoid the edge of a table or a narrow shelf, where an elbow could knock it over. This mirror is not electric: it needs no outlet or battery and moves from room to room.
Care
Wipe the gold metal with a soft, dry cloth, with no abrasive product or alcohol, which would dull the finish. For the glass, a microfiber cloth lightly dampened with glass cleaner is enough. In a bathroom, dry it after shower steam.

Gift for my wife's vanity
Bought this for my wife because she'd been doing her makeup in the bathroom with the door half open and terrible light. It came already assembled, nothing to screw together, which I appreciated. It swivels all the way round in the stand so she can angle it toward the window in the mornings. Both sides are mirrors, so from the bedroom side you don't see a plain back.
