This chrome mushroom lamp is made entirely of silver-finish metal: cap, stem and base form a single object in satin metal that catches the light. Cordless and rechargeable, it moves wherever you want it and switches on with a press of a finger. Its light, in three adjustable tones and directed down by the cap, draws a soft halo on the furniture. Design and materials of the chrome mushroom lamp
The body is metal in a brushed silver finish with a satin chrome look. The half-dome cap, cylindrical stem and round base follow the mushroom silhouette, now a classic of contemporary interiors. Off, the satin surface catches reflections gently, without a mirror effect; on, it fades behind the light. This silver mushroom lamp works with glass, kitchen stainless steel, matte white and bold colors. Set near a mirror, it multiplies reflections; our round mirrors make a clean pairing with it.
The light
The built-in LED draws 5 W at most, with no bulb to change. Three tones are available, from warm white to a more neutral white, and the brightness adjusts with a fingertip. Size and installation

Nothing to install: charge the battery, then set the lamp on a flat, stable surface. With no cord, it goes on a shelf, a side table far from outlets or a crowded nightstand. Keep it away from the edge and out of the path of children or pets. When the battery runs out, simply plug it back into a USB port to charge.
Care
Switch the lamp off before cleaning. The metal finish can show fingerprints: wipe it with a dry microfiber cloth, then buff. For a stubborn mark, a barely damp cloth is enough, followed by immediate drying. Avoid abrasive cleaners and sponges, which would scratch the surface.

Best bedside lamp I've owned
I've gone through a few bedside lamps over the years and they've always had annoying cables that never quite reach, or a switch somewhere on the cord that I fumble for in the dark. This one is cordless and touch controlled, so I just tap the top. The three tones make a real difference. I use the neutral white while I do my skincare and then switch to the warm one for reading a few pages before sleep, with the brightness turned down. The cap directs the light down onto the nightstand so my partner isn't bothered. Charging is through USB and it's quick to plug in when needed. The brushed silver finish looks smart against our grey headboard, and it's a nice change from all the brass in our house. It does show fingerprints, as the listing says, so I give it a quick buff with a microfiber cloth every few days.

Lights my sideboard

My little silver mushroom
Honestly i didn't think i'd love a lamp this much. It sits on the shelf by my bed and i turn it on every evening at the warmest tone and lowest brightness, its so calming. During the day the satin silver looks really cool, not shiny like a mirror, more soft and brushed. My cat sits next to it in the evening like its her lamp. Charging is easy with a usb plug. Entryway glow
We have a narrow console in the hallway with a round mirror above it and nowhere to plug anything in. I put this on the console and the reflection in the mirror makes it look like there are two lamps. I went with silver for my kitchen shelf and it suits the stainless steel nicely. Then I saw the brass version and wish I'd bought that one for the bedroom as well. The light from this one is lovely, it points down onto the shelf and gives a soft pool rather than lighting the whole room. Touch control works smoothly. id been after a silver mushroom lamp for my bedroom for a while and most of the ones i found were either very shiny mirror chrome or way out of my budget. This one has a satin finish, more brushed than polished, which i actually prefer because its softer looking. The touch control is easy, you tap the top to switch it on and then you can change between the three tones, from a warm white to a more neutral one, and adjust the brightness with a fingertip. i use the warmest one turned down low at night and the neutral one in the morning when im getting dressed. The light goes downwards from the cap so there's no glare in my eyes when im lying in bed. Only reason for four stars is that it shows fingerprints a bit, but the listing warned me and a quick wipe with a microfiber cloth sorts it.Silver
