Set the center of the mirror about 63 in (1.60 m) off the floor, at eye level. Above a sink, leave 6 to 8 in (15 to 20 cm) between the faucet and the bottom of the frame. Use anchors suited to your wall: drywall anchors for drywall, nylon anchors for brick or concrete. Have a drill, a level and a pencil on hand. Check that each hanging point holds before hanging the mirror.
Care
Clean the mirror with a microfiber cloth and glass cleaner sprayed onto the cloth, never directly on the glass: liquid running toward the edges can damage the silver backing. Wipe the aluminum frame with a damp cloth, with no abrasive product.

Japandi bathroom finished
We spent months redoing our bathroom in a japandi style, lots of pale wood, white walls and black fittings. The last piece was the mirror and I'd been holding out for an oval because everything else in the room was so square. This one is spot on. At 50 cm wide it suits our 55 cm basin perfectly, and the black aluminium frame ties in with the black tap and towel rail. The glass gives a clear, undistorted reflection. Bathroom win
Replaced the plain builder's mirrior above our 60 cm basin with this. The oval softens all the square tiles and the thin black frame matches the black tap we fitted. Left about 18 cm between the tap and the frame as suggested. its an aluminium frame so no worries about the steam, we just open the window after showers. Mirror is great, no issue there. Three stars because the delivery estimate was way off and the tracking didn't move for most of a week. When it turned up it was packed well and it's on the bedroom wall now.

We have a double vanity and bought two of these to hang side by side, as the FAQ suggests for wider basins. They look so much better than one big rectangle would have. Small entryway, big difference
Our entryway is narrow and quite dark, with just a small window by the door. I'd read that a mirror near a window helps, so I tried this oval above our 90 cm console. The difference is honestly surprising. The hallway feels wider and much brighter, especially in the morning. The vertical shape suits the narrow wall better than a round one would have, and the black frame matches our door handles. It's a simple mirror, nothing fussy, but the quality is good and it was easy to install with a drill and two anchors. Oval over the sink

My getting-ready mirror
I live in a small studio and didn't have space for a full-length mirror, so I wanted something tall enough to check my outfit and hair but not overwhelming. This oval is perfect. I hung it on the wall by my clothes rail and when I stand back a little it shows me from head to roughly hip. The black frame looks modern and goes with my black and white decor. Bought this for my partner's birthday, she'd been wanting an oval mirror for the bedroom for ages. I measured the wall and the 50 by 80 cm size was right for the space between the window and the wardrobe.
