This black arch window mirror borrows the look of a studio window: a rounded top, black grid bars and mirror panes that reflect the room like a view outside. The frame is wood with a black finish, cut into grid bars that divide the mirror into panes, like a steel studio window. It hangs on the wall from one or two points depending on the hanger, with screws and anchors suited to your wall. Have a drill, a level and a tape measure on hand. Hung on its own, center it about 63 in (1.60 m) off the floor; above a console or sideboard, leave 6 to 10 in (15 to 25 cm) between the furniture and the bottom of the mirror. Check the bars with the level: the slightest tilt shows.
Care
Clean the panes with a barely damp microfiber cloth or glass cleaner sprayed onto the cloth, never onto the frame. A cotton swab helps reach the corners of the grid. Dust the black wood with a dry cloth. Avoid abrasive products and lots of water.

Graphic and warm
The contrast of the black bars with the reflections is so striking, even on a plain wall. Paired with raw wood shelves and a terracotta pot it looks so cosy.

Fake window, real light
Our entryway has no window at all and felt like a cupboard. I hung this facing the front door and now it looks like there's a window with a view straight back into the house. The black grid and arched top look so convincing from the doorway. It's light, so I hung it on my own with two screws and anchors, and the level made sure the bars were straight.

Check you can drill
Gorgeous mirror and so easy to handle because it's light. I'm renting though and hadn't really thought about needing to drill two holes, so I had to ask my landlord first, which held things up by a couple of weeks. Once it was approved and up, it looked fantastic above the couch, the black grid really stands out against my white walls.Black -
