Our Story
Opalyne began with a simple idea: light changes everything in a home, and two objects are often enough to transform it. A well-placed mirror doubles the brightness of an entryway. A wall sconce in the right spot makes a living room feel warm as soon as evening falls.
The name
Opalyne takes its name from opaline, the milky glass that once dressed lamp globes and the objects of older homes. It diffuses light without glare and keeps a softness you recognize at first sight. That is exactly what we look for in every piece we select.
What we offer
Mirrors and lights chosen one by one for their lines, their finish and the way they live in a room: round, arched, wavy and floor mirrors, lighted bathroom mirrors, wall sconces, pendant lights and bedside lamps. For every item, we give precise dimensions, clear materials and installation tips, because a beautiful object in the wrong size never looks as good.
How we advise
What size mirror above a console? How high should a wall sconce go? What color temperature for a bedroom? Our product pages and our Guides answer these practical questions. And if you still have a doubt, write to us: we reply to you personally.
